The one off chair was exhibited during the 'Tom Dixon Twenty' show at the Milan Furniture fair. Tom Dixon wanted to see if Søuld's Acoustic Panels could be used as a substitute to petrochemical-based materials in the iconic Bird rocking chair - a bold sculptural foam providing a simple platform to test the comfort qualities of this promising new use for traditional material.
